Banakhu VDC Beekeeping imperative Programme

Objectives: To improve the household economy by enhancing income generation through advanced apiculture.

 

Key Activities:

  • Conducted Beekeeping training.
  • Handover beehives to farmers.
  • Facilitation of the public audit program.

 

Project Period: June, 2010

Project Location: BanakhuVDC of Kavrepalanchok, district

Funding Partner (s): BanakhuVDC/ District Agriculture Development Office (DADO), Kavrepalanchok

 

Major Achievements:

  • Provided 3 days beekeeping training to selected 20 household with 13 female and 7 male participant trained beekeeping.
  • Provided beehives to the 20 HHs of marginalized majhi community.
