Child Centered Education Program (CCEP)

Objectives: To develop the literacy environment and improve the child education through motivation for joining school to school dropout as well school not gone children.

Key Activities:

• To conduct and facilitate for two monthly meetings.

• To provide the materials distribution to the beneficiaries of the program entitled Child Centered Education Program (CCEP).

Project Period: 10 months (September 18, 2007-July 15, 2008)

Project Location: 2 VDCs (Banakhu and Ghartichhap) of Kavrepalanchok, district

Funding Partner (s): UNICEF, Nepal /DCCSO, Kavrepalanchok

Major Achievements:

• 4 class management committee formed and mobilization.
• 4 CCEP class conduct assisted.
• 60 persons became literate and 40 dropped out participants re-enrolled in the school.
