Objectives: To extension the water supply from Baluwa Health Post to the surrounding communities.

Major Achievements:

Construction of 10000 litre capacity ferrocement tank has been completed.

Construction of 4 public tap stands has been completed.

40 mm Ø 10 kgf/cm2 pipeline of 396 meter has been supplied and laid.

63 mm Ø 6 kgf/cm2 pipeline of length 62 meter has been supplied and laid.
-
25 mm Ø 10 kgf/cm2 pipeline of length 500 meter has been supplied and laid.

40 mm Ø 6 kgf/cm2 pipeline of 95 meter length has been supplied and laid.

32 mm Ø 10 kgf/cm2 pipeline of length 88 meter has been supplied and laid.

Backfilling of 1141 meter long pipeline that is laid under the ground has been done from the local community contribution.

For lifting water from deep boring to the ferrocement tank, 2 solar panels of Volta crystalline solar PV module 140 WP, 12V has been added and installed among the currently present solar panels.

654 people in 97 household in Khampur, Baluwa gained access to water supply from the taps on which water is supplied from ferrocement storage tank.

From the security point of view, for the preservation of storage tank, we have covered and surrounded the storage tank with barbed wire and angle poles.
