Objectives:

To provide capacity building training to local youths under safe migration and foreign employment.
To aware everyone on human trafficking in name of foreign employment.
To collect data of individuals in foreign employment in VDC level giving emphasis to those form the back warded groups in collaboration with Ward Citizen Forum (WCF) and Citizen Awareness Center (CAC) and to assist in its control.
To clarify about the roles of various stakeholders in safe foreign employment.
To provide basic knowledge about safe foreign employment and motivate participants to provide assistance based on that.
To provide knowledge about foreign employment, acts, policies and rules.

Key Activities:

Project Period: 3 month (March 20-June 14, 2016)

Project Location: 2 VDCs (Banakhu and Ghartichhap) of Kavrepalanchok District.

Funding Partner (s): District Sports Development Committee (DSDC)/Local Youth Partnership Program.

Major Achievements:

Completion of three days two places Foreign Employ and Safe Migration Related Capacity Development Training Program
Through training all together 25 youth (14 female and 11 male) of Banakhu VDC, got the opportunity for capacity development on Foreign Employ and Safe Migration.
Through training all together 25 youth (14 female and 13 male) of Ghartichhap VDC, got the opportunity for capacity development on Foreign Employ and Safe Migration.
Caste wise participation at Banakhu VDC, 6 dalit 6, 17 janajati and 2 other.
Caste wise participation at Ghartichhap VDC, 2 dalit and 25 janajati.
The support from Ward Citizen Forum (WCF), VDCs including other related stakeholders provided for this program.
