Literacy Nepal Campaign Programme

Objectives: To create literacy environment by providing non formal education to illiterate people of Ghartichhap VDC, Kavrepalanchok

Key Activities:

• Conducted for the VDC level stakeholders orientation program.
• Organized facilitators' training and non-formal educations classes.
• Managed and distribution of the participants' books and stationary
• Monthly class supervision.
• After the ending of class conduct assist in the literary evaluation for the participant.

Project Period: 4 months (December 20, 2013-April 13, 2014)

Project Location: Ghartichhap VDC of Kavrepalanchok, district

Funding Partner (s): District Education Office (DEO), Kavrepalanchok

Major Achievements:

• 9 facilitators selected.
• 250 person participant for books and educational materials distribution.
• 176 female and 70 male literate after conduction of non-formal educational classes.
