Orientation Program on Environment Friendly Local Governance (EFLG)
Objectives:

To empower the political leaders, coordinators of Ward Citizen Forum, and social mobilizers through EFLG.

To build clear vision on recent legal and strategy.

To build clear vision on EFLG indicators in the level of municipality.

To aware them about the local governance policy and plan.
-
To aware them about environment, climate change and risk management.

To encourage them to create environment friendly local governance.
-
To encourage them to be responsible for environment friendly sustainable development in community level.

To encourage them tom perform cooperative and supportive activities in the sector of environment and development.
Key Activities:

Agreement of program.

Selection of WCF members, CAC members and members from local community organization.

Providing letter to municipality level political leaders for the selection of participants.

Awareness program on environment friendly local governance.

Submission of the program report.
Project Period: 1 month (June 17-July 16, 2015)
Project Location: Panchkhal Municipality of Kavrepalanchok District.

Major Achievements:

Completion of awareness program on Environment Friendly Local Governance (EFLG).

With the help of this program all together 35 members (9 female and 26 male) from political leaders, coordinators of Ward Citizen Forum, and social mobilizers were able on increasing capacity development.

Caste wise involvement: 1 dalit, 12 janajati and 22 others.

After this program they assure that every program should be conducted with environment friendly.
